About the Club

Members of Rockford Country Club share a proud tradition. From its founding in 1899, our Club has established its own traditions with the building of an exceptional golf facility and the creation of an atmosphere in which every member feels welcome and at home.

Our golf course is one of the most beautiful and challenging in the area. The Rock River provides a serene backdrop to many of the course's lush fairways and manicured greens. There is also a practice facility with a bunkered chipping green and putting green. We have a well-equipped Golf Shop ready to outfit you with every necessity or luxury to unhand your enjoyment of golf and leisure. To further enhance your golf experience, Rockford Country Club is the only golf club in the area that offers a Caddie program and supports the Evans Scholarship Foundation which awards educational scholarships to young people who participate in caddie programs throughout the United States. The Golf Shop also provides bag storage, club cleaning and repairs. Private and group lessons are available from our PGA Professionals.

Our clubhouse provides a special place where members can make lasting friendships and share the camaraderie traditionally associated with membership in Country Clubs. Whatever your tastes, RCC delivers the complete dining experience. Members have their choice of enjoying delicious cuisine served in the causal setting of our Grill Room overlooking the golf course and pool. Or they can sample Executive Chef Jim's latest culinary masterpiece in the beautifully appointed Main Dining Room with its spectacular views of the majestic Rock River. With its beautiful table settings on Saturday nights, what better venue for that special occasion or simply quality time spent with friends and family?

For a completely unique experience, there's nothing quite like a summer twilight dinner on the Outdoor Deck, and exceptionally peaceful and comfortable setting with Rockford's most magnificent panoramic views of the Rock River.

Whether your winding down after a long day at the office, celebrating a hard-fought victory on the golf course or tennis courts, or entertaining friends or family. RCC's attentive staff, superb accommodations, diverse, high-quality menus and an excellent wine list make every meal a special occasion.

In addition to outstanding golf, we also offer a variety of other recreational facilities including a swimming pool which overlooks the Rock River, tennis courts with a tennis pro shop, and a skeet and trap shooting range.
